STATUTE OF THE POLISH CHAMBER OF SECURITY

§ 1
1. The Polish Chamber of Security, hereinafter referred to as the Chamber, is an organization of economic self-government operating
under the Act on Commercial Chambers on the 30 th of May 1989 and this Statute. The Chamber has legal personality.
2. The Chamber operates on the territory of the Republic of Poland and is based in Warsaw.

4. The Chamber may establish cooperation with or be a member of domestic or international organizations with a similar profile of
operations.
§ 2
The main responsibilities of the Chamber include:
1. Representation and protection of economic and professional interests of the Members associated in the Chamber in the area of their
activity referred to in § 4 let. a-g, specifically towards government and self-government institutions and socioeconomic organizations.
5. Initiation, development and promotion of attitudes and actions conducive to an improved security of citizens and their property.
§ 3
The Chamber performs its responsibilities by:
1. Cooperation with public administration and local self-government institutions.
2. Cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations of commercial and professional self-government.
3. Cooperation with business, scientific and social institutions.
4. Organization of cooperation and exchange of experience among Members of the Chamber.
5. Ensuring organizational and legal assistance as well as business consulting for Members of the Chamber.
6. Preparing and issuing opinions on draft legal regulations concerning activity of Members of the Chamber.
7. Collecting and making available to Members of the Chamber information concerning circumstances of their activity in Poland
and abroad and promoting their business activity.
8. Delegating representatives of the Chamber to advisory teams for the authorities, public administration as well as other institutions.
9. Promoting and introducing the norms of ethics in business activity of its Members.
10. Leading economic activity to gain financial conditions to ensure achieving the Statue aims of the Chamber. The economic activity
leading by the Chamber cannot be competitive to the economic activity of its Members.
11. Granting, according to the established criteria and regulars, service Quality Certificates to Chamber Member firms, confirming quality,
professionalism, solid and obeying the ethics in their activity,
12. Informational, educational and publishing activity.
13. Organizing and creating conditions to solve disputes in compromising or conciliatory way.

§ 4
An entrepreneur conducting business activity or other subject leading activity in the area of:
a) persons and property security and security managing,
b) designing, producing, trading in goods and services related to technical devices, means and systems for persons and property
security,
c) advising in security
d) detective services,
e) producing and trading of explosives, arms, ammunition as well as goods ad technology of arm and police purpose,
f) training and professional improvement referred to in § 4 let. a-e,
g) advertising, promotion and publishing referred to in § 4 let. a-e,
can become a Member of the Chamber.
§ 17
1. The Management Board is an executive body of the Chamber elected by the General Assembly. The Management Board manages the
Chamber between the meetings of the General Assembly.
2. The Management Board handles all issues of the Chamber not reserved by the General Assembly and not being within the
competence of other bodies of the Chamber, specifically it:
a) represents the Chamber and acts on its behalf,
b) executes resolutions and decisions of the General Assembly,
c) conducts on-going business and financial operations,
d) disposes of the property and funds of the Chamber,
e) makes decisions on joining other organizations,
f) accepts and excludes members,
g) appoints, as needed, specialist teams, committees and task forces, and approves rules and regulations of their activity,
h) appoints experts and certified specialists in the area of persons and property security from among members of the Chamber in
accordance with determined procedures.
